Elevate Metabolic Health – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Elevate Metabolic Health/Dr Caroline Butler, including face-to-face assessments, online consultations, coaching, educational content, and any digital or //downloadable materials. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Nature of the Service

Elevate Metabolic Health offers lifestyle medicine, metabolic health assessments, and coaching.
Services may include:

  • Health and lifestyle assessments

  • Personalised nutrition or movement guidance

  • Behaviour change support

  • Education on metabolic health, hormones, and wellbeing

  • Optional private blood tests (where applicable)

Unless explicitly stated, our services do not replace your usual GP or emergency medical care.

2. Medical Responsibility

  • You must continue to be registered with your own GP.

  • We do not provide emergency, urgent, or out-of-hours care.

  • Any medical advice given is based on the information you provide; you are responsible for ensuring it is complete and accurate.

  • You must consult your GP or specialist for new symptoms, worsening health, or medication concerns.

3. Suitability

You confirm that:

  • You are over 18.

  • You understand that results vary between individuals.

  • You will inform us of any relevant medical conditions, medications, or changes in health.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if they are not clinically appropriate.

4. Appointments

4.1 Face-to-Face Services

If attending in person, you must arrive on time. Late arrival may shorten your appointment.

4.2 Online Consultations

You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a private, safe environment for consultations.

5. Fees, Payment & Refunds

  • Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Programmes, packages, and digital products are non-refundable once delivered or accessed.

  • 1:1 appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

If we need to cancel, we will reschedule at the earliest opportunity.

6. Blood Tests & Third-Party Services

Where blood tests or external services are arranged:

  • Fees are payable in advance.

  • Once samples are taken or sent to the laboratory, these fees are non-refundable.

  • We are not responsible for delays, errors, or issues caused by third-party providers.

7. Online Courses, Content & Digital Materials

All digital products, downloads, videos, and resources are:

  • For personal use only

  • Non-transferable

  • Protected by copyright

You may not share, reproduce, or distribute any materials without permission.

8. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Follow advice safely and within your own limits

  • Seek medical help when needed

  • Inform us of any adverse symptoms

  • Use services only for lawful and personal purposes

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence causing death or serious harm.

11. Confidentiality & Data Protection

We follow UK GDPR and maintain strict confidentiality.

12. Changes to Services

As the business transitions to online delivery, service formats may change.
We will notify you of significant updates where relevant.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
